We are looking for a motivated and skilled Head of Engineering to join our Engineering team and lead various projects across several teams to help create processes and execute strategies to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner. As a Head of Engineering, you work on many projects at the same time, build and manage diverse teams of engineers from different disciplines, formulate and execute strategies, coordinate with other managers, and also hands-on and direct the engineers to improve team productivity.

What will you do:

• Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.

• Lead and conduct research and development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes.

• Monitor performance of individual contributors and help manage their professional development.

• Making determinations for equipment, staff and training needs.

• Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering teams.

• Provide engineering design services to support plant initiatives.

• Develop and manage refinery capital budget process.

• Hiring and building teams.

What we are looking for:

• Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering or similar role.

• Experience in a startup, preferably in the crypto industry.

• Excellent in Golang or Java, and other programming languages.

• Experience in data modeling in SQL or NoSQL Database.

• Has deep knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, Refactor/Rewrite system.

• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture using Kafka, Git Flow and microservices architecture.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.

• Analytical skills, great interpersonal and communication skills.

• Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas.
